can cats see 3 dimensional pictures without wearing 3d glasses?

my dad and i where watching jacksass 3d and as soons as it started my cat ran into the living room and started swatting at the tv like he was trying to grab something. So my question is can a cat see 3 dimensional pictures without the glasses like a human would have to?

Hehehehehe that’s hilarious >.< maybe they can but well never know for sure since we don’t have their eyes.

Is it weird that I start talking to PICTURES of cats/kittens even in public places?

It happens with other cute animals as well (both real and images) but mainly kittens. My friends and family have often caught me doing this and think something is wrong.
I don’t know what happens but when I see some really cute image of especially a kitten, may as well be it on a billboard etc. Next thing I know my heart rate increases and I find myself talking to them in a ‘baby accent’ whilst being completely oblivious as to who else may be watching.

No,don;t think so,they are just so cute you can’t help it.

Why does unsolicited religious lterature in the mail have so many pictures of cats and kittens?

I get junk mail from various Christian charities in my area and most seem to have cute little kittens and cats in weird positions. What gives? Do they assume I like cats?

In ancient Egypt cat were considered demi gods.

Not necessarily. But sounds like a fake facebook profile. Take a look at his friends list. If he doesn’t have a friends list then it’s fake. If it’s just full of young boys/girls then report him. If it’s full of women, and no men then he’s a pervert.

You should be suspicious of people that doesn’t have "normal" photos or friends on facebook. Especially if the only photos are of cute animals that are usually only there to attract young girls.

Or. He might have an unhealthy obsession with cats.

when my cat looks at a picture of another cat, why doesn’t understand that it’s a cat in the picture?
when my cat looks in the mirror he doesn’t seem to understand that he is seeing a reflection of himself. Why not?? He doesn’t even seem to notice the movements,
when I show my cat the tv, he doesn’t care. Same with music. Why isn’t he interested in the movement on the tv? why isn’t he interested in the sounds in music?

Only few animals have that kind of self awareness. Humans and apes can use a mirror to shave or remove dirt or something. I think maybe elephants too. Most animals cannot do this, however. They will attack their mirror image until they notice ”something is off.” An experienced cat will simply look the other way quite compulsively when faced with a mirror, but that’s as far as the comprehension goes.

The interest cats have in tv is limited. Remember they don’t see the kind of colours we see in daylight. They can’t interpret the images or the language anyway. They probably learnt at some point they can’t grab anything. Then I haven’t even mentioned the noise or the static around the tv.

The only exception I know would be the sound of kitttens. If that is on tv, the cat will be very much interested.

As for music, I think they are aware of it. You just can’t tell easily. Since the language means nothing to them, what should they respond to? And…what does a human do when listening to music? Usually not much.
