Assuming base and …
Assuming base and top are the same, you should explain that each of the lines that are drawn coming away from the original 2d shape are equal length and parallel to each other. it is confusing to beginners if you explain that the lines all have the “same angle” because each line doesn’t have a horizontal reference line to measure the angle from. off of the 2d shape, they dont all have “the same angle” (only when compared to the horizontal of the sheet. It’s also easier with upright 3d shapes
