   What’s wrong with a belly button piercing? I got one when I was 15. I’m 19 now and I’ve taken it out cuz I grew up, but why should it matter?

   It could easily have been fake or she could have easily removed it, if she had one, but if she got a belly button piercing, I think she’d be showing it off.

   I don’t know the back story but you’re making it sound like it’s been some big controversy.

   Teenage girls get their belly button pierced all the time. It’s better than getting a facial piercing that you can’t hide and can leave scars on your face, imo.
