I’m a 15 year old girl. 5’4.5". I was about 140 pounds
in January, but I’ve been eating 900-1200 calories a day for the past month and now am at 132. I’m going to be at a pool with a bunch of people who are REALLY skinny in 6 weeks…and I don’t want to feel really fat. I’ve never worn a bikini before…
I’ve been losing 2 pounds a week, so by then I should be about 120. My goal is 105-110. But I can’t tell a difference from when I was 140 until now :/
any tips on getting rid of my nasty stomach? how to tone?

Personally, I think you should do what you are comfortable with.
And medically, I think you’re a reasonable weight for your age and height.
If that makes everyone else stare, that is their problem not yours.
However, if you’re hanging around a bunch of anorexics and their staring bothers you, then yeah, I think the above recommendation for a "tankini" is a fine one.
um yea covr up plz

I think 115-120 would be the healthiest weight for you, not 105.
I wish all teens were like you! Actually doing a proper diet and losing weight the healthy way instead of starving themselves.
I think you should try a tankini. Keep up the good work, though and soon you’ll look better than the other girls

No, but if you toned up the tummy a bit it would look much better. The human body needs 1000 calories a day just to function, not even counting activties. Putting your body in starvation mode with so few calories actually makes the body hold on to all the fat it gets, so it’s counterproductive. Aim for 1600-1700 a day and exercise daily should help out.

You are not too fat to wear a bikini. Especially if you plan on losing more weight, you will definently be skinny enough to wear a bikini….but at what you weigh now, you can still wear a bikini.

Not really, I’ve seen A LOT of very fat people (not comparing to you) wearing bikinis. Just be confident

I didn’t see the picture, but do some Crunches… LOTS of crunches. If you have a gut, that’s how to get rid of it.
Also, you may want to check on your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). At your age, weight and height your BMR is 1500 calories per day. That means you need to take in 1500 calories a day just for your body to function (heart, lungs, stomach, metabolism, etc.) without any activity. With very light activity, we’re talking about 1,800 calories to maintain your weight. If you’re only taking in 900-1200 calories per day, you may not be able to lose as much weight as you want because your body will go into survival mode possibly slowing down your metabolism (which will keep you from burning as many calories). You always need to take in AT LEAST enough calories to cover your BMR and then burn off the calories that you don’t want. This will trick your body into thinking it has enough calories to work as normal, and when it runs out of calories for energy (because you burned some off), it will use your stored fat. So, instead of eating only 900-1200 calories a day (which is somewhat dangerous FYI), you should eat 1500 and then try to burn off 400 – 500 calories with exercise which will take you down to about 1000 calories….
So, if you take in 1,000 calories and your body is running normally (which you tricked it into doing by taking in 1500 calories) you will burn 1500 per day with only 1000 calories in your system. That means you’re burning 500 calories off per day. 3,500 calories = a pound, so you could lose another 6 pounds in 6 weeks.
Losing two pounds a week, at least the way you’re doing it, is not healthy. Be safe with your calorie intake. Also, if you’re self-conscious, wearing a bikini in front of a bunch of teenagers is NOT the way to help.
